Located in a vibrant area, this guest house is very close to the main street in Stockbridge and a short walk from the city center. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a comfy bed and a lovely view of the garden. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing tailored suggestions for things to do in the area. The breakfast is exceptional, with a wide range of healthy options including fresh fruits, cereals, and even dairy- and gluten-free cakes.
There is not much space for open suitcases or to sit down and do some writing.

Great location in a modern and nice area, close to the city center with everything within walking distance. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Outstanding breakfast with a wide variety of options. The room was clean, quiet, and had all necessary amenities including a fridge, safe, hairdryer, and clothes iron. Pickup of the keys was easy.
Felt incredibly welcome, nothing was too much trouble.

During my recent stay at New Town Guest House, I was impressed by the fantastic location and the delicious breakfast options nearby. The room was well-presented and had thoughtful details throughout, including a comfortable mattress and a tv. The contactless check-in made our late arrival at the airport hassle-free. The staff member we interacted with was pleasant and tried to be helpful. I had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Edinburgh.

I loved the unique and individual feel of this guest house, with its antique and Indian furniture. The room was spacious and airy, with a high ceiling and a huge bay window. The cleanliness was perfect, and the en-suite shower, although small, was adequate. The location was fantastic, with interesting roads leading to the city center and an easy downhill walk back. It was also conveniently close to Stockbridge village, with its pubs and main street.
